Rodrina Penn-Phillips aka Lady Drina is the Afternoon Drive Radio Announcer at Wokb 1680am. Lady Drina started out as a radio host / broker for years on her own radiogiif show entitled Walking In Favor show aired every Monday from 1pm-2pm weekly. Lady Drina began advertising and pushing WOKB from day one understanding the vision and goals for the future. Seeing there was a need for a Mid Day DJ Lady Drina stepped in to assist and became the full time Mid Day Dj/Radio Announcer Monday- Friday from 3pm-7pm. Lady Drina is new to TeamWokb as a Announcer but she's been apart of TeamWokb since 2012 to the present. WOKB is the 2017 & 2018 Large Market Radio Station Stellar Awards recipients. Lady Drive Live Drive supports Local and National Artist from CCM, Quartet, Caribbean, Rap, Traditional and more the list goes on she loves all music supports and pushes all . Lady Drina travels near and far hosting/emceeing/presenting at concerts/events and Awards Programs. Lady Drina supports various events she has traveled from Florida to Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, New York , New Jersey and Vegas this is just a few areas traveled over the years. Lady Drina has received multiple awards 2016 Radio Announcer Of The Year TBG Awards, Radio Host Of The Year S & M Gospel Awards Nc, Promoter Of The Year and many other awards for service rendered in The Gospel Music Industry. In 2019 Spin Awards named Lady Drina Live Drive Radio Show Of The Year . Lady Drina is a mother of three beautiful children whom she loves and adores. Lady Drina credits all she has learned about radio first to her Lord and Savior and to the CEO Shanti Persaud. She thanks Ms. Persaud for believeing in her and giving her a chance at having a voice when no one else would. Lastly she thanks the best leader Glenn Allgood for having the patience to train and teach her to love what she does and she'll never have to work again because it becomes your Ministry/Destiny for only what we do for Christ will last .
